TradeMe doesn't allow direct swaps either (possibly because of risk of fraud) ... so I suggest if you want to exchange goods you follow Digidogs advice

That is good to hear, good work to you all for stopping this person defraud others.

I've had not much luck with the Commerce Commission either, they seem interested at first then nothing happens ... until they abandon the case for reasons not given.
