Warning on asking questions on chinese trade sites

Post by Googlybear » Thu Nov 21, 2013 1:22 pm

Here`s a heads up about posting questions on Chinese `Wholesale` sites such as alibaba and alixpress.

I asked a question to an alibaba seller regarding hacked sizes of Memory cards they were selling.
I stupidly presumed that the site would not make my email address available to the seller however less than two hours after the question was posted i have received 10 separate spam emails all from various memory card sellers.

it seems as though any seller can see the email address of Question posters

My issue is it’s been 3 days that I requested info on usb pen drives to directly a few select companies and now I’m flooded with Spam from Chinese companies supplying electronic items contrary to me
